Her professional career led her from PR and fundraising at a major university to the senior marketing leader for the National Women’s Initiative at Deloitte in New York City.
Her popular book, Climbing the Ladder in Stilettos, has received accolades and recognition from numerous sources including The Wall Street Journal, The New York Post, and The Dallas Morning News.
Appearing on The Today Show and other national platforms, she currently co-hosts, along with her husband, their video podcast called, “What Are You Thinking,” which broadcasts around the globe to an audience of millions.
Lynette has served as a mentor and instructor for the George W. Bush Presidential Center Women’s Initiative focused on empowering women in the Middle East, and was the first female keynote speaker for the United States Naval Academy’s annual leadership conference.
Her commitment to building communities is evident through service on numerous boards and in roles earning her local and national recognition. She and her husband co-founded “Stop Child Trafficking Now” that featured a Stilettos Run in NYC, and walks in over 50 cities in the U.S and abroad.
They also founded Jordan Lewis Missions honoring the legacy of their son, focused on humanitarian projects and impact through water wells, orphan aid, and community development in some of the most desperate nations in the world.
Following the pandemic, Lynette started MyWhyLife, a platform of her purpose tools helping individuals and organizations connect their personal purpose to the life they’re living now.
Marriage, motherhood, the loss of a 23-yr old son to cancer, overcoming her own breast cancer, and now raising pre-teen twin daughters gives Lynette lots of stories and lessons learned. Add to that three grown sons, daughters-in-law and five grandkids, there is never a shortage of fascinating adventures.
The Lewis family loves serving the world and travel, with a strong faith that sustains it all. They divide their time between New York City and North Carolina.
