This sight caught my eye twice this week in NYC. Seems like such a picture of life sometimes. People and things we love, count on, that may seem solid are suddenly uprooted.
Uprooting can leave a big gaping hole like this one in the lawn of the Museum of Natural History. Not only is a hole left, but the roots are dangling for all to see.
The good news about uprooting though, is space is made for new growth to occur. Like here in this photo where a small bunch of daffodils has already sprung up on the bare spot.
